Start with hiragana and katakana, then practise reading kanji and choosing words that fit a sentence. Include numbers, time, counters and everyday expressions. Recognizing a copied character is a foundation exercise; exam preparation also needs meaning and usage.
Revise particles, verb forms, adjectives and common sentence patterns. In a starred-position question, reconstruct the full sentence with all four fragments before selecting the fragment at the star. Include grammar in connected passages as well as isolated sentences.
Read notices, messages, schedules and longer connected passages. For listening, identify the next action, important detail or appropriate response before checking a transcript. Review why the other choices do not fit.
Official N5 requires 80 out of 180 overall, at least 38 out of 120 in language knowledge and reading, and at least 19 out of 60 in listening. JLPT uses scaled scores. Raw mock accuracy is useful for revision but cannot be directly converted into an official score or pass prediction.
Check the official Nepal portal for current test dates, registration windows and test-day instructions. Already registered candidates should follow the instructions issued for their examination. A Yashi Academy preparation subscription does not register you for JLPT.

No. N5 is a JLPT level. JFT-Basic is a separate test with different tasks and timing. Choose the practice track for the examination you registered for.
JLPT does not publish an exhaustive current vocabulary, kanji or grammar checklist. Use the official competence description and sample task types alongside a structured beginner Japanese curriculum.
